DOT 5 is a synthetic silicone fluid specially formulated for the hydraulic brake and clutch systems of vehicles, whether they are passenger cars, commercial vehicles, or trucks. It is fully compatible with ABS systems and is suitable for extreme operating conditions, including in the motorsport industry.

Its advanced formula allows it to be mixed with other fluids such as DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5 while ensuring optimal performance and extended lifespan of the hydraulic system.

HOW TO USE & PRECAUTIONS

Warning! This fluid should not be used when the vehicle requires a mineral hydraulic fluid of type LHM.

Application:

1. Completely empty the brake and clutch circuit.
2. Thoroughly clean the system to remove any residue from the old fluid.
3. Fill with DOT 5 and bleed the system properly to ensure optimal performance.

Usage Precautions:

• Do not mix with petrol, diesel, oil, or water.
• Incompatible with Citroën systems that require mineral LHM hydraulic fluid (green-marked parts).
• Do not use instead of LOCKHEED HD12.
• Avoid contact with other silicone or silicate ester fluids.
